![]() Good--I used it to make lifeline gates.
So I take it that a non-braided core means it's climbing accessory cord. Too bad--I went out and bought some not long ago for something else. Thanks, Benz. John |

For life lines, and gates, ect... I would recommend making sure that what you have is Dyneema. It isn't that expensive, and this way you know for sure that it is safe. |

I used 5/16" Amsteel Blue for my lifelines, mobius-spliced per B.T.'s book. But for the short span of the gates, until I find out how to splice a proper gasket of 12-strand single braid synthetic, I'm comfortable with lashings of double braid dacron between the gate eye and the pellican hook in the meantime. |
