Default How to splice Cousin Mistral

Hello,
we just started splicing, had a good success with normal double braid, but now we need eyes on Cousin Mistral for our halyards and we are not sure what to use. Have tried Sta-Set-X splice and normal double braid splice with a little modification (instead of making the crossover by tucking the cover into the core, but by a kind of Brummel splice, which makes the last step really difficult, because the rope gets really large as you can imagine). What would be a good way to splice this rope? It's a parallel core with a 16 strand braid VERY tightly around it and braided cover. Any experience with this? Many thanks
Petr
