Hello everyone,
It has been three weeks since I had my ankle operated on; fusion, to address damage from a long-ago fall. The first week was the usual drugged haze, but I've been off medications since then, and gradually getting mobile. I spend an hour or two at the shop now, mostly to dispense wisdom, though yesterday I was able to help direct the crane for an unstepping. You should have seen it, with the crew scrambling around while I sat on an upholstered chair that Christian had carried out to the lift dock. I got to point.
So most of my time I spend at home, writing the long-delayed Basic Knots book. I just about have a draft, and it looks good. Glad to be back here.
Fair leads,
Brion Toss

Glad to hear you are back and the healing is taking place. It sucks to be off your feet when you are used to being up and moving around all the time on your own.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Rick
