![]() Does anyone have any used dies for swaging single- & double-shank balls and/or MS-type terminals(i.e. marine eyes etc) for the smaller wire rope diameters they'd like to part with? The machine is an older-model Kearney, but I believe dies for the more modern Loos will fit/work as well.
The sizes I need are: Ball - 1/16; 3/32; & 1/8 MS Terminal - 1/8; 5/32; 3/16; 1/4 Please contact Art at QuarterTonner@Verizon.net with particulars; I am located in southern NJ. HAPPY HOLIDAYS |

![]() Thanks Brian! I was curious as to your reason(s) why the machine should be used carefully; would you care to elaborate?

![]() What Brian is referring to is that it is very very easy for the swage to "banana". Even in the hands of an experienced operator I have seen terminals come out with such a curve it was almost comical.

![]() Is there something that can be done to minimize curve???

![]() Patience, insure that the dies grip the terminal symetrically, keep the wire rope straight as the terminal goes thru the dies...
