Default Traditional rigging opportunity in Baltimore, MD

The volunteer riggers of USS CONSTELLATION will work this coming Saturday, 23 July, from 8:30-12:00. Hopefully, the day will be cooler than the last one we spent hand-sewing in the sun. We'll also take some time to inspect our previous work and see how it's held up against subsequent heavy rains.

Our task this season is to shorten the bitter end of the mainmast shrouds, re-serve the ends, seize them and replace and retension the deadeye lanyards. We are scheduled to work every other Saturday at this time.

Please come and work, and bring anyone you think would be interested in our work. No skills or experience necessary; we can teach you everything you need to know.

If you have any questions, please write to me at kevinz@charm.net.
