Those Antal rings have such a deep groove for the line to go in, that once loaded I can't see them popping out. They're my favorite bits of boat jewelry since I discovered twelve-strand hollow braid and all it's manifold delights.

I should ask... where do you typically get yours, or is that not an appropriate question for this venue? I've had difficulty finding a consistent source that can ship in a timely fashion and sells wholesale.

Default West Marine

I buy them from West Marine, now that they carry Antal products. Before that, when just coming to our shores, I bought direct from Euro Marine Trading. But since EMT now distribute to West M., they no longer sell directly to the average Joe. I try to fenangle a Port Supply discount whenever possible. But even when paying full WM retail, they're far cheaper and stronger than the blocks I've replaced with them. Now the problem is what to do with my old blocks? It's never easy.....
