Default Arco

Hi again,
First, I don't know of an inexpensive source for good turnbuckles. Shop around, get the best discount you can wangle. Heck, call us for a price.
As for the nature of Alexander Roberts failures, I've seen numerous failures of double-jaw toggles at the turnbuckle lower ends, and a few barrel failures. Too many. At least as bad, the I have heard reliable reports that reps are in denial about these failures. Hardware failure happens to even the best of fabricators; it's what they do afterward that matters. I had a client with a cracked Hayn toggle on one turnbuckle. Hayn replaced all of the turnbuckles on the boat. And fast. With profuse and sincere apologies.
Fair leads,
Brion Toss
