Surveyors in Michigan

Hi all,

This is slightly off-topic, but I'm looking for an excellent marine surveyor in Michigan (Detroit area). I'm looking seriously at an Island Packet 38. Definitely want someone who will keep the buyer's interest paramount.

Any recommendations would be most welcome. I live in Seattle so don't know the Michigan boating community at all.

And, while I'm posting, any thoughts on the Island Packet rigs and sailing quality. I'm looking at a 1989 Island Packet 38, which seems in excellent condition. My biggest concern with the boats is the difficult of replacing the chainplates, which can be done but is a huge pain.
