Default Resources for Learning About Rigs

We have recently purchased a Mariner 32 ketch and are working on restoring/updating her. This summer we want to pull the masts and refinish them. We have over 20 years experience with sloops, but frankly, aspects of Kaaluna's rig mystify us. We have a very old copy (one of the first printings?) of Brion's book, but it is pretty thin and hasn't given us much insight. Is there a good book we could get that would explain the forces and engineering behind ketch rigs. Should we get an updated copy of The Complete Rigger's Apprentice or maybe a copy of his book The Riggers Handbook? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
