do spars and booms ever come with instruction maunals?

First, congratulations on unearthing your spars. I don't know where you'd go for drawings, let alone a manual, but perhaps someone else here does. Meanwhile this sounds like the kind of thing where general rigging knowledge will be at least as valuable as technical data. Where is the boat?
