![]() Wasn't it Roy Disney who had installed Titanium stanshions (sp-?) on Pywackit ?
I purchased some small titanium shackles to use on my ss lifelines, and they are still ok after 9 years. I tried Monel bolts on ss fittings,,, have good success there too. I would think the problem would be finding a source for titanium fittings,,,,, do you have a supplier in mind ? Douglas |

![]() I was looking for a swivel to use with in my anchor rode. Suncor makes a titanium swivel and I was wondering about any possible problems with combining the titanium swivel and galvanized chain.

![]() This is the galvanic series of metal in a low oxygen sea water environment. The most noble is at the top (graphite). When looking at possible reactions the further the two metals are from each other, the more reactive. Notice stainless steel (316) and aluminum as an example.
