Does the Straight Bend go by any other names? If so, what are they?

Default strait bend

I dunno... maybe "missionary bend"?

Reference text indicates if it is made with a single line it is the Linesman's Loop.

"Butterfly bend" is the obvious one which often is seen.

(It's an odd relation of loopknot to bend, in this case,
compared with some other such paired knots, interesting.)
