Default Boat in a Box Storage

Ahoy All , my wife owns a 20' Cape Dory Weekender Typhoon sailboat.

Currently she is wanting to ship her boat back to the US from Singapore, just like she shipped it to Singapore , from Alameda in S F .

We will be sailing our BCC from S'pore to Japan , the first year in season, then the next year , continuing on to Port Townsend, where we expect to berth her there, if that works out.

Her C/D Typhoon fits well in a 40' cargo container on it's trailor, mast and all.

We will be looking for a reasonable priced storage for the container , while we are onroute with the larger BCC , for 2 - 3 years .

My wife "Lang" , is a puter I/C design engineer for Broad Com a US Co , with a base in Seattle.

I am a little familiar with Port Townsend , from attending seminars and wooden boatshows there back in 1994 - 1996 .

If anyone has some constructive ideas , to accomodate her boat , 40' container , for long term storage , in the Washington area , we would like to know .

You may contact us at : [email] dwkayaks@yahoo.com

Currently our S/V BCC Calliste , is berthed in Singapore .
