Default Source For Sire Splicing Supplies

Hello,
I am new to wire splicing. I have spliced a half dozen liverpool splices using 1/4" galvanized 7X19 wire per Brion's book. The last couple of splices look pretty good. I have ordered some 7X7 SS 5/16" wire for more practice. If it goes well I'd like to try some 1X19.
Can some of the forum members recommend a good source for splicing supplies? I live in NC. Where is a good place to get quality (7X7 and 1X19) wire and thimbles? Who sells the kind of thimbles I will need for 7x7 (closed jaw?) and for 1X19? Brion mentions in his book in the section regarding splicing the 1x19 that one should use "oversized" thimbles to handle the wider bend 1x19 requires. I talked to a rigger that said he doesn't use oversize thimbles but serves the bight of the wiree and goes up a size thimble. I don't have enough experiece to know what the options are but would prefer not to serve if I can avoid it. Nonetheless I have not found a source for oversize thimbles.

Any thoughts or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
John
