![]() Hi,
We are finally back from Hawaii, having put the masts back into the fabulous Sugartime, a schooner designed and originally rigged by my dear departed mentor, Nick Benton. We'll get pictures up of the project soon. Meanwhile, we have yet another late Puzzler to deal with, and I will do so, as soon as possible. For those who asked, the boat is 55ft on deck, about 70ft. overall. And we took, not 400, not 500, not 600, but about 1,000lbs.(!) out of the rig. If we could have done more than repairs to the solid masts, the savings would have been more, but that half-ton made a dramatic difference in how the boat stood up. More details soon. Fair leads, Brion Toss |

![]() Welcome back Brion. Where is SUGARTIME lying - on Oahu, Maui, Big Island, West Covina???
Great to hear that you were able to remove that much weight from the tophamper. Looking forward to those pictures. Regards, Jamie White |

![]() Now I can certainly see 1000lbs making a significant difference. I am really looking forward to hearing more about this. Did you take pictures ?
Thanks
