Default Field guide #6 anytime soon?

Despite having received it only yesterday I've read working rope #5 numerous times now, have memorized most of it and tried my hand at a few of them - FANTASTIC work (I'm sure you've heard that many times) and highly reccomended to everyone. Now for the question I'm also sure you've heard many times - What's the ETA on book #6? Also, what is intended to be included in that volume?

Speaking of splicing, what are your thoughts on splicing Marlowbraid? Have you had any luck with the covered threestrand stuff?

Hi there,
The stalledness of the series is one of the sore spots in my life. The short form is that I am so utterly involved in keeping this shop running that writing has been egregiously deferred (note the prolonged 'Fair Leads' holiday). I have been whittling away at a couple of books, and am actually looking forward to an upcoming ankle surgery as an opportunity to catch up. We'll keep you posted.
Fair leads,
Brion Toss

Default Ps

Treat the three-strand-core Marlow like Sta-Set-X. Thanks for the enthusiastic book review.
