![]() I had some assumptions that were clouding my understanding...
When I make up fiber runners, I make the runner itself from covered HM and put a thimbed eye at each end - I set the length about 3 feet short of the deck when it is lead straight down. For storage, I take the runner to the rail with a small tackle or a bungie. When setup , I carabiner on a tail, take it to a turning block and then to a winch. I was picturing just the part aft/lower from the carabiner, and some how got that very wrong... Thanks, Bob |
