Default replacing masthead wire

Greetings fair leaders!
I'm trying to replace mast wiring in a 50+ YO spruce Cheoy Lee mast.
there are 3 single heavy gauge wires that won't budge. Can someone enlighten me as to how these wires are installed? I'm hoping there aren't interior clips/staples/fasteners to secure them- maybe someone who has had to rebuild one of these masts can post their experience.
Many thanks!

Hello,
Those wires were most likely installed before the mast pieces were glued together. They usually run in very tight spaces, especially at the entry and exit points. And at these points you will find a generous amount of adhesive sealant, to keep water out. You might -- only might -- be able to hole-saw around the wires, and find that the parts in side will run.
Fair leads,
Brion Toss
