Default Out of action

Hello all,
Tomorrow (26 March) I'll be getting a new knee. Among other things, this involves a bag full of prescription medicine. So I might not be attempting to post here for a few days.If I do, and seem to be delirious, you will know why.
Fair leads,
Brion Toss

How will we know?

But seriously, after you come out, obey your physical terrorist and all will go well.

Default Post-surgery

Hello al
All well thus far. Walked about 300ft, and went up and down a flight of stairs yesterday, immediately after surgery. The "physical terrorist" arrives this afternoon.

Hope your recovery continues apace.

I had a secretary some years ago who put off getting a new knee for some years. After finally taking the plunge she was back on the tennis court for the first time in many years within just a few months of surgery.

I hope your experience is as positive.

Keep doing what PT says. Recovery will be much more fruitful. Hang in there.

Ahoy Brion , sorry to hear that you will be Off Line for a short while , now to get that atrophy out as well .

B T W , was the knee problem a result of a rigging injury ?

It doesn't seem likely that playing the Congos could cause a knee problem .

Get better soon , hope to see you in 2014 .

Default Return

Hello all,
And first, thanks for "physical terrorist," a line I am using regularly. Am about to go visit mine in a minute.
As you'll see from the posts below, I am back in gear. It would mean a lot to me if you could spread the word on whatever other sites you visit.
As for the cause of the problem, it was a rigging accident, of sorts, way back in 19 and 69, when a 45ft. scaffolding tower that I was on fell over. Long story.
I am heartened by all your support. Thanks so much.
Brion
