Default Old rod rigging and advice

Hi. My wife and I sold off our Hadia 26' last fall and just bought an Aphrodite 101 this last weekend. I did a major refurb and refit on the Haida but never messed with the original wire/swage rigging. We are hauling out the Aphrodite in Everett on the 6th to have a look at things under water, then will likely pull the mast sometime in May or June to inspect rigging, sheaves, replace windicator, etc. My question to this forum has to do with the rigging, obviously. She is wearing here original rod rigging which is now some 38 years old. Conventional wisdom I suppose is to replace it. I'm wondering how much of the original rig could reasonably be salvaged. Would anyone re-head rod this old? Any thoughts on Dux/dyneema for this boat?

Thanks!
Jarred
