![]() Hi,
I am having the standing rigging on my 25' Seaward redone, as well as replacing the CDI furler with a new CDI furler. The forestay was attached to the mast via a t-ball swaged fitting, and, as per CDI recommendations, I want to switch the top of the forestay to a toggle attachment to the mast. What sort of hardware do I replace the keyhole and backing plate with? Some sort of saddle strap thru-bolted to the mast? In other words, what does the toggle on the end of the forestay attach to on the mast? Thanks for any insight! Mike Boat's a fractional rig, something I neglected to point out originally.
