Default Alexander-Roberts Company

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of Alexander-Roberts Company and the quality of their rigging components? I have very limited knowledge about rigging and the rigger I'm working with primarily uses components from Alexander-Roberts. I did a web search and was unable to find out anything about the company other than their address in Irvine, CA??? Any info on the company and/or experiences, good or bad, with their companents would be very helpful!

I have a friend who experienced catastrophic failure of an Alexander-Roberts toggle in his mast rigging. When questioned, Alexander-Roberts fessed-up that they had had a bad batch of toggles, and that those made since have a designating mark to identify the good ones. Why the old ones weren’t recalled raises a red flag for me. Googling will turn up other references to Alexander-Roberts failures.

Default Ummm

Hello,
Rather than offer any opinion on AR hardware, I'll just say that I prefer Hayn or Schaefer.
Fair leads,

I've used AR fittings in my business for 13 years without a problem.
