aluminum corrosion

Has anyone found a secret sauce for dissolving aluminum corrosion? I have a 1" bolt in my mast and does not want to leave it's current position. I need to remove it to relocate it.

Thanks all for your input. I'll just chew on this a while. It sounds to me if I can keep my stay angle bisect properly and keep the spreader from walking down I should be ok.

yep. you got it. I've seen the bars and the sleeved bolt option. My mast is oval so compression tubes would be challenging. I'm trying to either copy a solid design or come up with something to fit...

masthead splice

Aloha/ howdy all! Might anyone have any experience in splicing on a masthead to a mast? What i have is a mast45' long, which was much longer, and in the process of cutting the mast to fit the needs...
