Thanks so much for your opinion... The factory internal splice extrusion I have is 64", and weighs about 20 lb, so it definitely isn't insignificant at that height. I have a little leeway...

Evolution of the Sparcraft debacle... I've located a mast that is a full length section, but shorter than my original stick... Plan is to lop off the stemhead and splice a length of my original...

I found a rig that might work for my boat, but it's set up as a deck stepped rig... Whereas the rig I am replacing was keel stepped...
