Samson anchor rode
Brion, Ian, many thanks for your responses and conclusions. This is actually new/never used, in the original packaging from Samson, but older (275' of anchor rode) given to us years ago by a good cruising friend. In attempting to repurpose this line and create splices, I encountered something new to me. We will now go another route. By the way, Brian, the Splicing Wand almost got me to a successful splice with this material, but, what a chore. Thank you again.
