That was an amazing interview, Mr. Toss. I really enjoyed the way you articulated elemental principles as it relates to rigging on a sailboat: how, for example, you explained that the sailor at the tiller is at the end of a long chain of forces that begins with the wind and flows through the various structures of the rig and hull. This makes us integrally part of that rig! Anyway, it has changed the way I think about sailing, in a way, and how I relate to the boat, although I think unconsciously it is something every sailor learns. It is what we think of when we talk of how the boat "feels" under a specific condition, but we are taught more to think of the rudder, rather than this more holistic idea that you put forth. Thanks again for doing that.
