Default Dyneema Forestay and Soft Hanks

I have used dyneema for a recently installed, easily detachable, solent forestay - mostly for a heavy weather staysail. (This is on a Catalina 30).

I've never used soft hanks before and so far I'm not very happy with them. I want to be able to hook or unhook sail hanks with one hand on the tossing deck at night, and I don't think they will work for that. (I miss the good old bronze hanks sewn onto the sail.)

I'm looking forward to the ease of moving the synthetic forestay out of the way and stowing it along a forward lower when not in use.

Is there anyway to use bronze hanks on the dyneema or will that tear it up? Anyone here spent much time sailing with these soft hanks?
