Lovely, though "pretty hard" is not an engineering standard. If you'd like to make several samples, I could arrange to have them destruction-tested. Use New England rope, please, as they'll do the tests. A typical 35lb handle load on a #46 winch will get you about 1,600lbs, which might be only 50 to 60% the strength of the Spectra portion, or less, depending on the grade. What were the end terminations?
