Default Removing Sta-Loks

Hi Ben , yes, I think that you got it ,,,,,, cut the wire close, then put the nut in the vice and hammer-punch the wire back out, and disassemble.

I pack my Sta-Loks with the blue neutral cure electrical silicone, and these come apart easily . Then I use the ss wire brushes in my Dremel tool to clean the old silicone from the internal parts. Then I use ss pickling paste to re-passivate all the parts, then re-buff - polish the exterior surfaces, then using the Toss recommended 50 power h / h microscope , inspect all the parts .

I must get a good squeze out of the silicone around the 1 X 19 as it exits the sta-Lok , or rust will start there.

I think that there are other useful threads, here, on this subject, too.
