I have used sta loks in the past but went with the hi mods for re rigging my ebbtide 33 for many reasons (i will post them if anyone is interested)
I have two questions about the assembly of the hi mods
1. My wire is 1/4 the terminals are 6mm (the terminals work for a couple similar sized wires) and when I assemble them the cone goes on snug but easily by hand. the ring on the other hand will not go on without some kind of mechanical advantage and are hard to adjust and remove. is this normal?
2. when the terminals are assembled and the eye is screwed down there is a sizable portion of the threads still visible (just over half of the thread length) this seems a bit much normal? any ideas?
