Thanks for the advise.
The last thing I wanted was a wire to short!
I just installed my first sta-lok eyes today on one end of the 1/4 inch lower shrouds in preparations for the rerig. The new wire was left a little long and I will cut to size when the old one is down. I followed the instructions on Brion's DVD, and all went real smooth.
I also cut the wire with a sawsall using the block of wood jig that Brion had mentioned about and I could not believe how clean a cut it made. And took just seconds.
