Hi all,

I am refurbishing my mast at the moment and have removed the old wire halyard exit sheave box for the jib halyard ( an older discontinued Ronstan product). I am changing to spectra halyards but I have been unable to find a sheave that corresponds to the rivet hole pattern for the old one.

Do I just drill new holes right next to the old ones? This would seem to be weakening the spar to me. I can use the middle ones ( or top or bottom holes).

Any ideas??
