Pardon my absence. I've been away for a bit due to assorted travel, most notably a short voyage in the bark "James Craig." More on that and other events later. Meanwhile I am at the Australian Wooden Boat Show, in Hobart, preparing to give some talks. I promise to attend to some of the interesting-looking threads here soon.
