Mast for trailer sailer
 

Hello all,
I was wondering if a certain mast configuration which is popular in Australia might be available in the U.S. The designer calls for a round aluminum mast about 3 inches in diameter, with a tapering fiber glass sleeve that inserts into the top of the mast. This is to
build a mast that bends to depower the sail for gust control. I have not seen anything like it here but seems to be pretty standard for their 18ft class of skiffs too. Thanks.
