Is all Alu.bronze the same

Quick one hopefully....
Are there grades of Alu.bronze that are magnetic. By magnetic i mean enough to feel it when a magnet is close, a real life sense not a scientific sense.
Thanks again.

Robbie,

It is possible someone has an alloy that would be slightly magnetic, but in general no. Neither Aluminium or Bronze are magnetic so you would have to add iron to the mix. Possible of course, but given that the Alu Bronze is generally used for is corrosion resistance it would normally be justified.

Thanks stumble
Interesting....the stuff made of this 'magnetic' bronze, was real shiney at installation but by the the time the boat reached the central pacific the bronze had not got the light green verdegris that you would expect, but a brown rust like color...not flashy.
Thanks for the input
