First, I don't see that a forward lower would be a good thing here; the aft lower is already quite busy enough arresting the accumulated forward thrust of the rest of the standing rigging, and a forward lower would only serve to pile more load on, with no benefit.
And although rig geometry has much to do with pumping, it isn't the only thing that might be involved, and in this case mast section likely figures in.
There was a boat much like yours out front the other day, and I passed the time reassessing the configuration. The only difference I noted was that this boat had check stays, which of course act not to oppose a forestay, but to keep the mast from excessive bend in the lower panel. But even here, the mast must be stiff enough, in the first place, to deal with inescapable compression loads. Even a mast with perfectly-placed attachment points will pump and wobble, if it isn't stiff enough. And that is scary.

You might try keeping the inner staysail( stormjib?) up as that will help ease the large jib through the slot between your forestay and innerforestay by blocking the area behind that stay with sail cloth.
